The amazing watercolour shows the grandeur of this amazing Tall ship. Astrid and Pogoria are in the distance on the left and Alexander Von Humboldt to the right with its distinctive green sails. Superbly designed and built, TS Simon Bolivar is a relatively new tall ship launched in 1979. She is a square rigger, with a steel hull and a Barque Rig and sails under the Venezuelan flag. She is exclusively used as a training vessel for the Venezuelan Navy and takes part in many tall ship events and sails the Americas.
