Falmouth Working Boats, Abigail Rose (32), Victory (7) and Mabel (41) go head to head in The 2008 Oyster Festival Race. Mabel lost her highly coloured topsail during the race. Each boat has its own number and colour identity enabling onlookers to recognise them.  The Oyster festival marks the end of racing and is the start of the winter season for oyster dredging. Many of the working boats take an active roll in this.
